Long time no talk! You may have noticed a lack of recipe postings from me lately, but don’t worry, I haven’t forgotten about my blog! I’ve been incognito for a two main  reasons: 1) I’ve been applying to colleges and recently got accepted to my first choice (YAY!!!!!!) AND 2) I’ve been experimenting on and off with adopting a vegan diet. I must say that a vegan lifestyle brings many health and energy benefits, but it does not supply a wide array of dessert options. Happy Valentine’s Day!!! On a day like today, I’m going to reference the words of one of my favorite actresses, Emma Stone: “you’re a human being, and life is wonderful, so eat the damn red velvet cupcake.” And she’s right! Even out of all the fancy layer cakes, red velvet is definitely my flavor of choice and what’s even more exciting is that it’s a Paula Deen recipe, which means it must be utterly delicious! I had issues with wrong flour measurements, broken egg yolks, and baking disasters, but here I present a delicious, decadent, definitely not disappointing cookie recipe that’s a Mrs. Fields secret! I’ve been looking back to my roots…To cookies, that is. My all-time favorite Soft & Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie recipe is by far my most famous dessert. Regardless of my 5-layer cakes or fancy pastries, my cookies take the blue ribbon as the “fan-favorite”. So, when I found this YouTube video (below) about the science behind cookies, I was intrigued to investigate my ultimate cookie recipe, courtesy of the fabulous Martha Stewart. Continue reading

I  love eating breakfast foods at all times of the day, so naturally I was attracted to this delectable Cinnamon Toast recipe that I found recently.
